Account Limits
What are your API limits?
On-device API calls are unlimited during the SDK Beta. We will send all account admins updated documentation prior to releasing version 1.0.
Is there a user limit?
There is no monthly-active-user limit during the SDK Beta. We will send all account admins updated documentation prior to releasing version 1.0.
How many notifications can an account send?
Notifications are rate-limited for each user you send notifications to, but the total unique notifications your account sends to all users is only limited by Apple's internal rules during the SDK Beta. We will send all account admins updated documentation prior to releasing version 1.0.
Permissions
What permissions does the SDK require?
The SDK only requires Remote Notifications permission in Background mode. All other permissions are optional. However, several permission types, if granted, will improve the performance and capabilities of the Set SDK. Those include background location and motion for example.
Will location permission create a blue bar in iOS 11?
No matter what permissions your users grant your app, the Set SDK will never cause the persistent blue bar reported by some iOS 11 beta testers. Our SDK is designed to run efficiently in the background and will not ever effect your application's expected appearence.
